We're excited for the "365" Series that Brookside Church is doing in 2016, where we're encouraging Brooksiders to spend time daily reading the Bible, as we follow a plan to get from Genesis to Revelation throughout the year. The Brookside Institute is all about biblical literacy and theological formation - what better way to build these values than reading through the Bible together as a church family?!
In alignment with this 365 Series, the current plan is that we won't be offering our usual cycle of classes in 2016. Instead, we plan to offer a number of "one and done" seminars throughout the year, that will guide people into and through their reading of God's Word. In addition to these anticipated seminars, the Institute will also be producing a number of resources that can be used by individuals and groups as they read through the Bible.
See below for a tentative schedule of seminars and a listing of resources we're making available. (And be sure and keep up with the Institute blog, where we'll keep posting things broadly aligned with our Institute values!)
